Due to the nature of digital services, all payments made to Code Stew are generally non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if:
- The service has a major failure
- The service is not delivered within a reasonable timeframe
- The service is significantly different from what was agreed

A major failure includes situations where:
- The service cannot be fixed within a reasonable time
- The issue is substantial and affects the entire outcome
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Change of mind after work has commenced
- Delays caused by the client (content, approvals, feedback)
- Failure to provide required materials or communication
- Dissatisfaction based on subjective preferences not aligned with agreed scope
- Completed milestones or delivered work already approved
5. Deposits & Milestone Payments
- All deposits are non-refundable once the project has started
- Milestone payments are non-refundable once the related work has been completed and delivered
- Any unpaid work will remain the property of Code Stew until full payment is received
6. Cancellation Policy
- Projects may be cancelled in writing (email required)
- If cancelled before work begins, a partial refund may be considered
- If cancelled after work has started, charges will apply for work already completed
7. Subscription & Monthly Services
For monthly or recurring services:
- You may cancel your subscription with prior notice (e.g., 7–14 days)
- No refunds will be issued for the current billing cycle once it has started
- Services will continue until the end of the paid period
8. Refund Process
To request a refund, you must:
- Submit a written request via email
- Provide details of the issue and supporting evidence
We will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may:
- Result in immediate suspension of services
- Lead to legal action to recover funds
- Incur additional administrative or legal fees
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost revenue, business interruption)
